Rules, policies, and passenger responsibilities for booking BaliGoat tickets

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all bookings made through BaliGoat.com, operated by Jifu, LLC. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not complete your booking.
1. Booking acceptance
Your booking is confirmed when you receive an e-ticket via email from BaliGoat. It is your responsibility to: provide accurate passenger names, contact details, and travel dates; check your e-ticket for errors within 2 hours of receipt and report discrepancies immediately; arrive at the correct port and departure time as shown on your e-ticket. BaliGoat acts as a booking agent for licensed boat operators. We facilitate the transaction but do not operate the vessels.
2. Prices & payment
- All prices are displayed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) unless otherwise noted.
- Prices may vary during peak seasons (July–August, Christmas/New Year, Nyepi).
- Payment is due in full at the time of booking.
- Accepted methods: Visa, Mastercard, Amex (via Stripe) and USDT (TRC20).
- Your card details are processed by Stripe — we never store full card numbers.
3. Cancellation & refunds
Voluntary cancellations
- 48+ hours before departure: Full refund (minus a 5% processing fee).
- 24–48 hours before departure: 50% refund.
- Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund.
- No-show: Non-refundable.
Involuntary cancellations (by operator)
- Weather: Full refund or free rebooking if the operator cancels due to unsafe sea conditions.
- Mechanical / operational: Full refund or rebooking at no extra cost.

4. Changes & amendments
You may change your travel date or time free of charge up to 24 hours before departure, subject to availability. Contact us on WhatsApp with your booking reference.
5. Passenger responsibilities
- Carry a valid passport or government-issued ID for domestic travel.
- Obtain any necessary visas before traveling.
- Arrive at the port 30–40 minutes before departure (45–60 minutes during peak season).
- Follow all safety instructions from the boat crew and port staff.
- Declare any oversized luggage, surfboards, bicycles, or motor vehicles at the time of booking.
6. Luggage
- Included: 1 suitcase (max 20kg) + 1 small carry-on per person.
- Extra bags: Charged at the port (approx Rp 50,000–100,000 per bag).
- Sport equipment: Surfboards, dive gear, and bicycles can be carried with advance notice.
- Motor vehicles: Motorbikes permitted on the cargo deck (fuel must be drained). Fees: Rp 150,000–300,000.
- Prohibited: Flammable liquids, compressed gas, illegal substances, weapons, and hazardous materials.
7. Limitation of liability
BaliGoat acts as a booking intermediary. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: BaliGoat is not liable for delays, cancellations, or incidents caused by weather, sea conditions, mechanical failure, or acts of God. BaliGoat is not liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during transit. BaliGoat's total liability is limited to the ticket price paid for the affected booking.
8. Medical conditions & pregnancy
Passengers with serious medical conditions, mobility issues, or who are in the third trimester of pregnancy should consult their doctor before traveling. Please notify us at booking time.
9. Prohibited conduct
Passengers who are intoxicated, aggressive, or pose a safety risk to others may be refused boarding or removed from the vessel at the captain's discretion. No refund will be issued in such cases. Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
10. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved informally via WhatsApp or email. If unresolved, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
11. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Bookings made before the change remain subject to the Terms in effect at the time of purchase.
