How do I book a speedboat ticket on BaliGoat?+

Select your departure and destination ports, choose your travel date and number of passengers, then click Search Tickets. Browse available departures, pick your preferred time and operator, and complete checkout with card or USDT. Your e-ticket arrives instantly by email and is also accessible via My Tickets on the website.

How early should I arrive at the port?+

Arrive at least 30–40 minutes before departure. During peak season (July–August, Christmas, Nyepi, Easter) arrive 45–60 minutes early to allow for port crowds and check-in queues. Late arrivals may miss the boat — no refunds for missed departures.

Can I book a return/round-trip ticket?+

Yes. On the search form, click Return at the top to switch from one-way to round-trip mode. Both outbound and return legs will appear in the price breakdown at checkout. Return tickets are often cheaper than booking two one-way tickets separately.

What payment methods do you accept?+

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express via Stripe's secure checkout, plus USDT TRC20 for crypto payments. Card details are processed directly by Stripe and never touch our servers. Prices are displayed in both USD and IDR.

Is it safe to pay with my credit card?+

Absolutely. All card payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor used by millions of businesses worldwide. Your card number is entered directly on Stripe's secure iframe — BaliGoat never sees or stores your full card details.

How does USDT crypto payment work?+

Select USDT at checkout. You'll see a wallet address and the exact USDT amount. Send the payment on the TRC20 network from any crypto wallet. Once confirmed on-chain, your booking is automatically finalized.

Can I cancel or change my booking?+

Changes: Free up to 24 hours before departure.
Cancellations: Full refund 48+ hours before, 50% refund between 24–48 hours, no refund within 24 hours. Contact us on WhatsApp for all requests.

What happens if the boat is cancelled due to bad weather?+

If the operator cancels due to unsafe weather conditions, you receive a 100% refund or free rebooking to another date. Weather cancellations are most common December–February and are always at the operator's discretion for passenger safety.

What if I miss my departure?+

Missed departures are non-refundable. However, contact us on WhatsApp immediately and we'll try to get you on the next available departure for a small rebooking fee. Don't wait — reach out as soon as you know you'll be late.

What is the luggage allowance?+

Each passenger gets 1 suitcase up to 20kg plus 1 carry-on bag. Surfboards, dive gear, and motorbikes can be carried with advance notice for an extra fee. Contact us on WhatsApp at least 24 hours before departure.

Which ports and destinations do you serve?+

Departure ports: Padang Bai (east coast, 50-min from Ubud), Sanur (south-east, 15-min from Sanur hotels), Serangan (southern Bali, limited departures).

Destinations: Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, Gili Meno, Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, Lombok (Bangsal).

How long is the boat ride?+

Bali → Nusa Penida: 30–45 min • Bali → Nusa Lembongan: 30–40 min • Bali → Gili Islands: 1.5–2.5 h • Bali → Lombok: 2–3 h. Times vary by operator and sea conditions.

Are the boats safe? Do they have life jackets?+

Yes. All partner boats are Partas-licensed and carry life jackets for every passenger, emergency rafts, fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, and marine radios. BaliGoat only works with licensed, vetted operators.

Is there onboard food and a toilet?+

Most fast boats have a small toilet and basic snack bar. The short Nusa Penida crossing (~45 min) typically has no onboard facilities, while longer crossings to Gili Islands and Lombok generally do.

How do I retrieve my e-ticket?+

Your e-ticket is sent to your email immediately after payment confirmation. You can also access tickets via My Tickets on the homepage using your email and booking reference. Download, print, or re-send from there.

Do I need to print my e-ticket?+

No — showing the e-ticket on your phone is sufficient at all ports. Make sure your phone has sufficient battery and the email or My Tickets page accessible before arriving at the port.

Do I need a visa for Indonesia?+

Most nationalities can get a Visa on Arrival (VoA) at Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport for Rp 500,000 (~$32 USD). Valid for 30 days, extendable once for another 30 days. Check your country's eligibility before traveling.

Do you offer hotel pickup or transfer?+

We don't operate transfers directly, but we can help arrange transport to the port. Most hotels in Sanur, Ubud, Seminyak, and Padang Bai offer shuttles. Contact us on WhatsApp for recommendations.

What is the best time of year to travel by fast boat?+

April to October is the dry season with calm seas — the best time for island travel. November to March is the wet season with rougher seas. However, boats run year-round and full cancellations are rare even in wet months.

What should I bring on the boat?+

Essentials: e-ticket on your phone, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, motion sickness tablets if prone, light jacket, and reusable water bottle. Keep valuables in your carry-on, not checked luggage.
